Since 1992, this most appreciated and sector specific competition is held every two years for young electricians.

Switzerland is the host country for the 2012 edition of the European Competition for Young Electricians. (CYE2012) that will be held from the 13th to the 18th of April 2012 at the MUBA Exhibition in Basel.

9 Competitors will each be representing their own country, coming from several countries throughout Europe. Usually all finalists of a national competition will compete, benchmark and demonstrate their skills by carrying out a practical electrical and telecommunication installation.  The aim of the CYE is to demonstrate at a highly public frequented exhibition the advantages of high-quality professional training and to boost public recognition for the professional work of electricians, revealing the exceptional quality of training in the member countries of the AIE.

We welcome new and previous candidates and experts of the CYE. Check out previous pictures of the competition at our new launched official CYE Website: www.aie-cye.eu
